Searching for a vendor via directories is common, yet often frustrating. Many lists are SEO-oriented, offering little valuable information or insight. Others are either overloaded with details or rely on outdated data.
To address this gap, our design and PdM teams carefully reviewed up to 50 digital product design agencies and compiled this list. Here, you’ll find an evaluation of their portfolios and case studies, an analysis of client reviews, an overview of their services, and an in-depth look at their experience and approaches.
The result is a carefully curated list of 11 top product design agencies.

The methodology behind our choices
1. Selecting agencies for evaluation
We used sources such as Awwwards, Clutch.co, Behance, GoodFirms, DesignRush, Dribbble, The Manifest, and LinkedIn to compile a preliminary list of up to 50 agencies.
2. Portfolio overview
Our UX/UI team manually reviewed each agency's portfolio, focusing on design proficiency and technical execution, problem-solving skills, and business impact. By design proficiency we mean:
- Creativity: Is the design unique or does it offer new solutions? Does it avoid clichés and stand out from typical designs in the industry?
- Aesthetics: Are colors, typography, spacing, and layout well-balanced and pleasing to the eye? Are there any visible flaws?
- Usability: Is the design easy and intuitive for users to interact with?
- Consistency: Is the design consistent in its elements across all pages and components?
- Accessibility: Is the design accessible for people with disabilities?
- Responsiveness: Does the design work well on various devices and screen sizes?
To evaluate problem-solving skills we reviewed case studies or project descriptions that demonstrate how the agency addressed complex user experience and business challenges.
Our team looked for evidence of measurable outcomes for clients, such as increased user engagement, higher conversion rates, or improved customer satisfaction.
3. Other factors we considered
Along with evaluating portfolios, our team considered these factors:
- Client testimonials and reviews: We evaluated client reviews—what they liked and disliked, their highlights, and how they described their experience—along with the number, quality, and rating of reviews. Our product manager also considered the number of returning clients and referrals.
- Industry experience: We evaluated industry experience by considering the years in business, specific experience with B2B companies and notable clients such as Oracle, Google, Amazon, etc.
- Innovation and trends: Our team assessed whether the company integrates UX/UI trends, uses advanced tools, and adopts the latest technologies, such as AI, voice UI, dynamic interfaces, AR/VR experiences, and AI agents.
- Pricing and value: We assessed the clarity and transparency of pricing structures, with hidden fees or vague models lowering the score. Our team also focused on ROI, based on case studies and client testimonials.
- Awards, recognitions, and thought leadership: We evaluated awards from reputable industry organizations, community involvement through mentorship programs and workshops, and thought leadership via blogs, speaking engagements, and participation in design communities.
Our team used a 1-10 scale scoring system. Each member scored the agencies independently, and the scores were aggregated to ensure objectivity.
Additionally, we used AI tools to analyze portfolios and client reviews to get additional insights and patterns that we might otherwise overlook.
4. Creating the list
After evaluating findings, services, projects, client reviews, and key agency information, we compiled a list of 11 top design agencies. We grouped all the featured agencies as top performers, highlighting each one's unique strengths without ranking them or making direct comparisons.
Note that the information in the list is accurate as of the publication date. While we review our blog posts periodically, we can't guarantee that updates about the companies will always be synchronized with real-time changes.
